Sarah Hainer was born on November 22, 1801, the daughter of Richard and Hannah (Vollick) Hainer.

Richard (also known as Derrick) and Hannah Hainer had 9 children; Catharine(1783), Dorothy(1784), Cornelia(1790), Chloe(1792), Elizabeth(1792), Mary(1795), Eve (1798), Margaret(1800), Sarah(1801).

Sarah married John Tinline in 1823. John and Sarah had eight children; James Augusta (1823), Hannah Catharine( 1825), Cornelia (1827), William Hamilton (1829), Margaret Ann (1832), Sarah Jane (1834), Matilda (1837), Mary Louise (1841).

One hundred and fifty one years ago today,  Sarah died on October 3, 1866 at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 9 days. Church records indicated that her death was the result of a fall. She is buried in the Schram-Tinline Cemetery in Louth Township, Lincoln County, Ontario.
